Job Summary:
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end operational delivery of large-scale media and communication projects within the sports ecosystem. The role requires strong project leadership skills, a deep understanding of the sports industry, and proven experience managing cross-functional teams. The candidate will oversee project planning, execution, milestone tracking, digital engagement initiatives, and inter-department coordination while ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. With a minimum of 10 years of professional experience and at least 2 successfully executed major projects, the Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication operations and stakeholder alignment across all sports-related verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily execution of media, communication, and digital activities across sports verticals.
- Lead end-to-end project management including roadmap creation, scheduling, task allocation, and workflow monitoring.
- Ensure on-time delivery of all project outputs while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Coordinate with content, digital, media, creative, and outreach teams to ensure integrated execution.
- Prepare project progress reports, dashboards, and performance reviews for senior leadership.
- Track milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures to maintain timelines.
- Serve as the central point of communication between internal teams, client stakeholders, and partner departments.
- Ensure alignment with sports communication objectives and brand guidelines.
- Identify operational gaps and propose process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Oversee documentation, workflow systems, and compliance across the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in media, communication, or sports-led projects.
- Mandatory experience in handling at least 2 large-scale projects, ideally at a national or international level.
- Strong knowledge of the sports industry, including communication frameworks, digital engagement, and event-based operations.
- Proven ability to manage teams, resources, schedules, and timelines efficiently.
