About the Role
We are looking for an experienced project management leader to oversee utility-scale Solar and SolarBESS Hybrid projects across India. The AGM will manage projects from development to commissioning, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality execution while meeting all regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Development & Planning:
- Oversee feasibility studies, engineering design, permits, and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with grid, ROW, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams.
- Project Execution & Construction Management:
- Lead multi-site teams for projects of 300 MW+ capacity.
- Drive on-ground execution, resolve site challenges, and monitor progress.
- Ensure adherence to quality, HSE, and pre-commissioning protocols.
- Stakeholder & Regulatory Coordination:
- Act as the single point of contact for clients, utilities, and authorities.
- Liaise for CEIG, SLDC, Open Access, and grid compliance approvals.
- Maintain transparent communication across all project stakeholders.
- Commercial & Financial Management:
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, P&L, and cashflows.
- Optimize costs and ensure timely vendor payments and documentation.
- Technical & Engineering Oversight:
- Review all engineering deliverables (electrical, civil, instrumentation).
- Ensure compliance with grid studies and commissioning procedures.
- Coordinate smooth handover to O&M teams.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 1015 years of experience in utility-scale solar project management.
- Proven track record of leading at least two projects of 300 MW+ capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- Expertise in EPC project execution, P&L monitoring, and cost control.
- Proficiency with project management tools and ERP systems.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
