Position Title: Project Manager

Department: Engineering & Design

Job Description: -

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall efficiency, quality, and performance of the engineering design teams. This role involves training, motivating, and guiding engineers to enhance their technical and managerial capabilities, as well as ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery. The Project Manager will focus on resource management, process improvement, and the continual development of team members to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Organize and conduct training sessions for engineers to enhance efficiency, reduce conceptualization time, and improve overall job quality.
• Develop and mentor team members to take on higher responsibilities and strengthen their technical and professional skills.
• Motivate and encourage creativity and innovation within the team.
• Identify and analyze causes of low job ratings and implement effective corrective measures.
• Ensure regular updates and implementation of QA & QC tools to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Prepare performance reports and track group efficiency across projects.
• Maintain effective coordination across all departments to ensure a frictionless workflow.
• Monitor and optimize scheduling and coordination tools such as Daily TM and TM-Web.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices, and ensure their adoption across teams.
• Promote standardization in design and documentation processes.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and leadership on complex design challenges.
• Support recruitment activities by assessing technical and behavioral competencies of potential hires.

Job Requirements: -

• Education: M.E. (Structures) with First Class.
• Minimum 6 years of in-house experience, or 6 years of external design experience plus 2 years of in-house experience, or 10 years of external design experience in structural engineering.
• Proven experience in managing structural design and detailing teams with strong technical, managerial, and communication skills.
