Greetings from People first consultants!

We have an exciting role with one of the leading IT MNC Company for Project analyst.

Location: Bengaluru

Shift timing: 4 pm to 1.30 pm

Must have skills:

BFS domain, JIRA, MS Project, Excel

Strong background in project financials budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, etc

Key Role Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

RAID log management Ingestion of Risk/Action/Issue/Decision items, maintain coherency/currency of the RAID log

Reporting support consolidation / Preparation of reporting materials (Weekly status report, ESC materials, ad-hoc requests)

Interdependency Management support consolidation/Tracking of interdependencies across project workstreams as well as outside or project

Financial Management support consolidation of monthly costs forecasts, tracking of actual spend and analysis of variances between forecast and actuals

Project change control Maintain PCR list and action related tasks/activities

Artifact management Organize/track/index required artifacts

Schedule Management support tracking and reporting on identified tasks/deliverables/milestones, highlight/escalate slippages for action/attention

Qualifications:

The qualifications required for the Project Analyst I role are as follows:

1. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline is typically required. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management may be advantageous.

2. Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management or a related field. Experience in managing smaller projects or work packages within larger programs is highly desirable.

3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Jira, is essential. A strong understanding of technology and its application in business processes is also required.

4. Analytical Skills: The ability to perform complex analysis and reporting at the project or program level is crucial. This includes the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effectively reporting to management, training other personnel, and collaborating with team members.

6. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills are required to address project challenges and ensure successful project delivery.

7. Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet deadlines is essential.

8. Interpersonal Skills: The role requires the ability to work well with others, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.

These qualifications ensure that the Project Analyst I can effectively manage projects, deliver work packages, and perform complex analysis and reporting

For the Project Analyst I role, preferred certifications can enhance a candidate's qualifications and demonstrate their commitment to professional development. Some of the preferred certifications include:

1. Project Management Professional (PMP): Offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI), this certification is highly regarded in the field of project management and demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of project management principles and practices.

2. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM): Also offered by PMI, this certification is ideal for those who are new to project management and want to establish their credibility in the field.

3. PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner: PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a widely recognized project management methodology. The Foundation level provides an introduction, while the Practitioner level demonstrates the ability to apply PRINCE2 principles in real-world projects.
