We are hiring a Professional Services engineer to join our professional Services team and work with APAC/EMEA based customers.
Reporting to: Professional Services Team Lead, India
Location: Gurgaon, India (Home office/Hybrid)

Responsibilities
- Design, Customize and implement the PS offered solution, hands-on, within the agreed upon timelines.
- Work with global enterprise customers.
- Develop know-how and best practices related to such engagement and serve as a center of knowledge for AlgoSec and its partners.
- Interact with AlgoSec global Professional Services Center.
Requirements
- 3 years previous experience in similar positions in a software company.
- Networking or security background.
- Experience in Linux/UNIX environments.
- Experience in programming in Perl or Python.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience in customer facing roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Independent, resourceful, problem-solver, result oriented, fast learner.
- Team player, pleasant and with a high level of integrity.
- Operating well under-pressure, multi-tasking.
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time, working on-site with AlgoSec customers.
Advantages
- Experience in firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Panorama, Fortinet, etc).
- Experience writing Shell script.
