Production Head / Production Manager – Desired Candidate Profile

Experience Required

Minimum exposure to Critical Care Injectable manufacturing.

Should have independently handled at least 50 formulations across injectable dosage 

forms.

Candidates having hands-on experience in Ophthalmic formulations and manufacturing 

will be given additional preference.

Must possess hands-on knowledge and manufacturing experience of injectable products 

in the form of:

o Solutions

o Suspensions

o Emulsions

o Lyophilized Products

Manufacturing Line Exposure

Candidate must have independently handled at least 5–6 different manufacturing lines, 

such as:

o Liquid Ampoules

o Liquid Vials

o Lyophilized Injections

o Ophthalmic Products

o Pre-filled Syringes

o BFS / Other Sterile Dosage Forms

Regulatory & Audit Exposure

Must have successfully faced and handled at least:

o 10 International Regulatory/Customer Audits

o 5–7 MNC Domestic Audits

Technical Competency

Must be capable of independently taking batch calculations and batch casting.

Should have strong troubleshooting skills and be able to identify, investigate, and resolve 

production- and batch-related issues independently.

Must have sound knowledge of:

o Sterile manufacturing practices

o Aseptic processing

o GMP requirements and regulatory compliance

o Schedule M requirements and implementation

Should be capable of handling regulatory observations, production challenges, 

implementing corrective actions, and ensuring timely batch execution.

Candidate Background – To Avoid

Candidates having primarily worked on the following product categories may not be 

preferred:

o Ranitidine-based products

o Diclofenac Injections

o Pantoprazole Injections

o Gentamicin Injections

o Betamethasone Injections

Candidates with primary exposure to Oncology manufacturing may be avoided, as such 

exposure is not aligned with our current manufacturing portfolio.
