Roles & Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to ensure that production targets are met.
Managing the production budget and ensuring that all resources, including materials, labor, and equipment, are used effectively and efficiently.
Ensuring that production processes are safe, efficient, and comply with industry standards and regulations.
Identifying opportunities to improve production processes and implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Managing a team of production supervisors and workers, providing direction, training, and support as needed.
Monitoring production output and quality, and taking corrective action when necessary to ensure that products meet the company's quality standards.
Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards.
Maintaining accurate records of production output, costs, and quality, and reporting on these metrics to senior management.
Experience & Education:
5+ years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, manufacturing, or operations management, is typically required.
Must be an effective communicator and able to build relationships with production workers, supervisors, and senior management.
Ideal candidates should also have strong leadership skills, be able to motivate and inspire their team, and be able to resolve conflicts as they arise.
