Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of rubber products such as conveyor belts, transmission belts, rubber sheets, and related products.
- Ensure compliance with production specifications, SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Monitor production parameters including mixing, calendaring, curing/vulcanization, finishing, and packing operations.
- Identify product defects and coordinate with production teams for corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain production and inspection records, shift reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and raw materials.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
- Follow all safety and company policies on the shop floor.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, improve efficiency, and minimize wastage.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of rubber manufacturing processes and industrial production practices.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control techniques.
- Ability to read production drawings, specifications, and inspection standards.
- Good understanding of production planning and shop-floor coordination.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Experience
1-2 Years (Mandatory experience in the Rubber Manufacturing Industry)
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1–2 years of experience in a rubber products manufacturing company.
- Exposure to conveyor belt, rubber sheet, industrial belting, or technical rubber products will be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and quality-focused.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and rotational shifts.
