Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end production operations across sheet metal stamping, press shop, and multiple assembly lines at a large manufacturing plant.
  • Drive productivity, quality, safety, cost, and delivery performance through effective manufacturing leadership.
  • Manage a large workforce comprising engineers, unionised employees, and contract workforce while ensuring harmonious industrial relations.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, PPIC, Stores, Maintenance, and Plant Finance to achieve operational objectives.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the Plant Head in driving manufacturing excellence and developing the plant's long-term operational strategy.

The Successful Applicant

  • The ideal candidate is a full-time Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or Production Engineering graduate with 15-20 years of manufacturing experience in automotive or consumer durable.
  • They should possess strong expertise in sheet metal manufacturing, press shop, stamping, and assembly operations,
  • Must have been a leader of of large, unionised, multi-line manufacturing teams in a mass production environment.
  • Experience from automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or manufacturers of small consumer appliances preferred.
