Job Description

o Develop VALUE-ADD process or mechanisms to smoothen production
o Manage DRAWING issuance to meet Master Plan (TPS).
o Identify risks of delay or quality and take preventive measures to meet deadline at all level without compromising QCD
o Collaborate with other department/process to perform PRODUCIBILITY study
o Ensure Total Production KNOW-HOW is BUILT-IN before DRAWINGS issue to production or sent for Customer Approval.
This includes :- .
a) Identifying CRITICAL Fabrication Parts Special Materials/ tools & availability Special Process Long-lead time Capabilities Capacity Skill Space
b) Using standard check sheet c/w aligning with related dept or shops leaders
c) Thorough study of past records to prevent repeats
o Align with Production to propose TRY-FIT and built in the Quality Requirements and Planning (for critical process to reduce rework) whenever needed.
o Identify and resolve potential problems that could lead to equipment failure.
o Aim for minimize need to set-up for PDI - which one is value-added (eliminate or reduce PDI for repeat projects.
o Rigorously focus on BUILD-IN Quality in Design, Fabrication and Assembly phase.
