About the Role
Wise FinServ is looking for a dynamic and analytical Product & Research Analyst to join our expanding Product & Research Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting investment research, financial planning, retirement strategies, and portfolio analysis. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, an understanding of financial markets, and the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
You will work closely with advisory teams, leadership, and operations to deliver research-driven recommendations aligned with the financial goals of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Market and Investment Research
Conduct detailed research on mutual funds, equities, debt instruments, and wealth management products.
Track macroeconomic trends, market movements, and regulatory developments impacting the capital market.
Prepare research reports, market updates, and thematic insights for internal and client-facing use.
Portfolio & Financial Planning Analysis
Perform portfolio reviews including asset allocation, return analysis, and risk assessment.
Support development of financial and retirement planning strategies based on client profiles.
Assist in building model portfolios and customised recommendation baskets aligned with market conditions and client objectives.
Use analytical tools to generate insights for rebalancing, risk optimisation, and goal-based planning.
Product & Solution Support
Evaluate third-party investment products (mutual funds, insurance, structured solutions, etc.) based on performance, suitability, risk parameters, and client requirements.
Create product comparison frameworks and suitability matrices to help advisors make informed recommendations.
Support the enhancement of internal product notes, financial planning modules, and research repositories.
Collaborate with advisory, sales, and compliance teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
Skills & Qualifications
Educational Background
Bachelor's/Master's in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, or B.Tech (any specialization with strong analytical aptitude).
NISM certifications (Series NISM Series XV,NISM Series XIIIX-A, X-B,) preferred.
CFP, CFA/FRM qualification (Level 2 or ongoing) is an added advantage.
Technical & Analytical Skills
Proficiency in data analysis and financial modelling.
Strong command over MS Excel, Google Sheets, and financial databases.
Experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel dashboards.
Ability to interpret numbers, identify trends, and convert raw data into insights.
Understanding of risk metrics, asset allocation concepts, and investment strategies.
