About StockGro

Founded in January 2020 by former venture capitalist Ajay Lakhotia, we're well-funded. We are backed by some of the respected investors – General Catalyst, BITKRAFT, Roots Ventures, and the likes of Kunal Shah, Vivekananda Hallekere, Rahul Garg as Angels. We have some brilliant minds with us, working on a mission to make 400 million Indian millennials investment-ready, with Senior Executives from Sequoia, Swiggy, Glance, Airtel, Uber, and institutions like ISB, NITs, and IIMs.

Your role in our vison :

We don't need someone who clutters a user's inbox with just another push notification or in-app prompt. We need someone whose messages get opened - because they're relevant, well-timed, and worth the user's attention.

That means ensuring users actually understand what we're building, how our features work, and why this should be their go-to product for investing - not just that we told them it exists, but that they get it

We're a lean, close-knit team without rigid departmental walls. You'll have direct ownership over growth outcomes, not just a slice of a funnel. You'll work directly with the leadership on a product used by retail investors in India, with real autonomy to test and ship ideas fast.

What You'll Own

Lifecycle & Automation

1. Design, build, and run marketing automation workflows across the full funnel - Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue - using platforms like WebEngage
2. Build and execute playbooks that introduce users to new and existing features via in-app messaging, campaigns, and other communication touchpoints

Growth & Experimentation

1. Analyze user journeys and funnel data to find drop-off points and opportunities
2. Run quick A/B tests on funnel and traffic enhancements to drive measurable KPI impact
3. Partner with product, design, and other teams to improve acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation

Performance & Optimization

1. Track KPIs across all triggered campaigns and automation workflows
2. Turn data into specific, actionable recommendations — not just reporting
3. Optimize spend and effectiveness across push, email, SMS, and WhatsApp

What You Bring

1. Strong inclination towards capital markets - you understand trading behavior and how retail investors actually use these products. This matters more than years of experience.
2. 4+ years in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, or similar
3. Hands-on experience analyzing funnels, user journeys, and turning data into action
4. Proficiency with CRM/marketing automation tools — WebEngage, MoEngage, CleverTap, or similar
5. A sharp analytical mindset paired with genuine creative instincts
6. Comfort with ambiguity and ownership in a lean, fast-moving team
