Job Description

About The Role

Locus is building the agentic, AI-native TMS for enterprise transportation — decisioning and orchestration across the order-to-settlement lifecycle — with proven, market-recognized leadership today in last-mile execution and multi-carrier orchestration. We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to turn that product capability into global market momentum.

This is not a status-quo, task-execution PMM role. You'll be based in India but working to a global standard. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Marketing, you'll partner directly with Marketing, Product and Sales, — and you're expected to think, not just execute: to ask the right questions, challenge weak briefs, and own outcomes rather than tasks.

What you'll own

Positioning, messaging & narrative

  • Turn positioning into differentiated, evidence-based messaging for the Locus platform and its modules and specific to certain buyer personas, verticals, and use cases for the last-mile delivery and transportation management systems market.
  • Translate messaging into a polished, retrievable asset library: product pages, solution briefs, data sheets, and decks, leveraging AI to help automate these workflows, keep things up to date, and adopted.

Product & field enablement

  • Run the release-to-field loop: what shipped, buyer value, proof status, demo readiness, and the seller action.
  • Own the enablement toolkit the field actually uses — pitch architecture, battlecards, objection handling, persona kits, demo narratives — with governance that keeps materials current and findable.
  • Run product updates and market briefings for Sales, Customer Success, and BD.

Go-to-market & launches

  • Support GTM for launches and major releases — the brief, narrative, asset stack, and internal rollout — in lockstep with Product and Marketing.
  • Provide positioning-aligned input into the website relaunch, iterating on messaging and driving impact.

Customer proof & references

  • Own customer proof and reference production — sourcing stories, running interviews, and producing case studies and reference assets, starting with last-mile delivery proof, in partnership with Customer Success and Sales.

Market & competitive intelligence

  • Run competitive analysis and win/loss, and convert it into differentiators, battlecards, and positioning inputs.
  • Sharpen ICP, buyer personas (VP Supply Chain, Head of Logistics, CIO), and use cases using research and customer signal.

How you'll be measured

Over your first year, success looks like:

  • Field readiness — releases reach the field fast and correctly: time-to-field (days from GA to field-ready), adoption and findability of current enablement assets, and seller confidence that they know what's real.
  • Customer proof — a growing library of published customer references, starting with last-mile delivery, and a rising share of active North American deals backed by a relevant proof asset.
  • Campaign metrics — campaign and channel conversion, content engagement and pull-through, MQL-to-SQL progression, and web/landing-page conversion.
  • Commercial impact — a value story that helps the field defend price and lift average deal size, plus pipeline influenced by the launches and campaigns you support.
  • Sharper market intelligence — current competitive guidance the field actually uses (battlecard adoption, competitive win rate) and win/loss coverage that turns into visible messaging, qualification, and product actions.

What you bring

Experience

  • At least 5+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing — with hands-on ownership across positioning, messaging, launches, and enablement. You've owned the work, not coordinated it.
  • Enterprise scale. Demonstrable experience marketing enterprise software at enterprise deal sizes (six-figure+ ACV) to senior buyers — not SMB or transactional motions.
  • Complex enterprise domain. Logistics, supply chain, transportation tech, or an adjacent complex B2B domain is a strong plus.

Skills & attributes

  • Judgment and initiative. You ask questions, challenge briefs, and work on the right thing — not whatever you're handed.
  • Global standard. You've supported product marketing and B2B SaaS organizations with a global audience.
  • Strategic and hands-on. Comfortable shaping a launch narrative and writing the deck slides yourself.
  • Clarity of thought, not just fluency. Clear, concise, and confident in writing and on calls — able to hold your own with product, sales, and executive stakeholders.
  • Translator. Turns dense technical concepts (routing optimization, ML, agentic decisioning) into crisp customer value.
  • Data-aware. Uses research, customer signal, and analytics to prioritize work and inform positioning.
  • AI proficiency. Hands-on with large language models and agentic AI workflows to conduct research, synthesize insight, and produce high-impact marketing artifacts.
  • Education. Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
