Job Description

  • Make insurance pre purchase, purchase and post purchase a joy
  • If a customer wants to buy a health policy, you should be able to build product experiences that help customers understand the policy, choose the ideal cover and pick the policy that works the best for them.
  • If they want to buy a term policy, the product should be able to look at the customer s wealth, evaluate the term cover needed and help him buy the policy easily
  • Ensure compliance in every product rollout
  • Train the customer support teams so that your product and customer support speak the same language
  • Build product experiences to help customers answers queries about their policy on the app itself ( eg - does this insurance cover cashless day care treatments , what is my policy paying term for life insurance )
  • Build seamless renewals experience
  • Work with insurers and other service providers to ensure there are no operational or claim issues
  • Capture customer feedback from those who ve purchased and those who haven t
  • Experiment with ways to drive customer growth and increase adoption (such as product changes, onboarding programs, insurance related content)
  • Measure the effectiveness of customer/ product initiatives using tools like Amplitude and Google Analytics
  • Work collaboratively with analysts, customer operations and engineers to execute initiatives.

  • Past experience in building / scaling digital insurance products is a big plus
  • 3 - 7 years in product management
  • Experience using data to drive decision-making. A good handle on tools like Amplitude/ Mo engage/ Web engage/ Google Analytics will be great
  • Excellent customer experience and communication skills
