Firstventure is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Manager to play a crucial role in documenting our software requirements, policies, processes, and business model, as well as generating insightful internal reports. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and writing skills, a strong understanding of business processes, and a proven ability to follow through on commitments.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Documentation: Understand business requirements for our software products and meticulously write detailed documentation for various internal and external stakeholders.
- Process Streamlining: Comprehend various roles and their associated processes, then develop clear procedure documents to streamline activities and build redundancy within operations.
- Policy Development: Understand policy requirements and create simple, clear policy documents for our diverse stakeholders.
- Operational Optimization: Determine operational objectives by evaluating existing business processes and functions, gathering critical information, anticipating future requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, evaluating output requirements and formats, and subsequently developing and implementing effective solutions.
- Reporting & Analysis: Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful, actionable reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with clients, technical teams, and managerial staff to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- System Improvement: Recommend controls and improve systems by identifying problems, studying current practices, and thereafter updating, implementing, and maintaining enhanced procedures.
- Research & Planning Support: Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within various departments and programs of the client group.
- Performance Monitoring: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
- Impact Communication: Understand and effectively communicate the financial and operational impact of any proposed changes to processes or systems.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct insightful, ad-hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues, providing data-driven recommendations.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills and strong writing capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
- A strong track record of following through on commitments.
- Understanding of and experience in corporate branding.
- Experience with strategic brainstorming sessions.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BMS/BMM).
- Master's Degree is a bonus.
