We are seeking a highly skilledMechanicalEngineer with a background inProduct designing.The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of productDesigning with specific tools and techniques. Identify critical areas, highlighting high-priority work packages or activities.
Responsibilities
- Applies and supports the development of processes such as Design Review, Virtual Review, and tools such asCreo, DFMEA, DVP & R, DFM, DFA, tolerance stack-up, etc.
- Conducts cross-functional reviews for components on own, seeks guidance from experts and program team members as required.
- 3D CAD modelling for majorcasting componentsand other engine components like plumbing, sheet metal brackets, etc.
- Creating and checking 2D drawings. Apply GD&T and design for Manufacturing/service/assembly.
- Develop engineering releases as per component requirement for respective design phase.
- Support on the engine build with proposed BOM (Review BOM and verify it during engine build).
- Support part movement during the engine builds, validation, testing, etc.
- Capable to handle ETLA and Product tailoring components / system TLA.
Requirements
- Experience Range -6to 12Years
- Qualification - MTech or BTech Mechanical or Associated Branches.
- Background of working in CREO 2.0 on engine components like plumbing, sheet metal parts, casting etc.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and Design for Assembly.
- MCM knowledge is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of engine components function is preferred.
- CAD Proficiency: Pro/E Creoandcasting- NPD
- Expected Skill Level Expert.
