About the role - Product Certification Manager is responsible for leading the card product certification process, which requires close coordination with payment schemes like MasterCard, Visa , external test labs as well as internal stakeholders. This is a global role that needs to communicate with external entities located across the globe. Base location shall be Pune. Work from home facility available and subject to supervisor's approval. Domestic and International travel involved. Qualification Graduation in any branch (preferably engineering in E&TC, Electronics, Computers) or BSC / BCA/ BCS, MBA and respective equivalent post-graduation Experience Minimum 5 years (5-15 years) in IT project management, excellent client communication and coordination Technology This is a non-technical role, however basic understanding of Software development, Java/JEE, SIM,EMV card / Smart Card / Java Card is preferred Knowledge and Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must-have skill.
Ability to understand technical matters and to analyse technical issues quickly
Basic knowledge in any of Payment Card, (e)SIM, or public transport card domains
High capability in problem solving skills when dealing with external project partners
Proactiveness, good communication skills, fluent written and spoken
English Experience in being an active acting project manager in IT related projects
Preferably experience in contracting external contractors within projects
Capability to manage agile projects is of advantage
Experience in certification and testing is a plus, preferably from a testing laboratory
Objectives of role :
Monitor ongoing product certification processes and requirements for card product certification
Build and maintain good industry knowledge on certification matters
Train and educate internal stakeholders on regards product certification matters
Define certification scope and strategy for product development projects
Actively monitor and manage assigned certification projects
Track progress and resolve testing issues during certication projects
Report progress to PMO Project Manager, Product Manager, Head of Product Cert.
