Job Description
As a key contributor within our team, the Product Architect plays a central role in defining the technical direction and roadmap for the Business Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the technical vision and architecture strategy for the Business Unit, translating market and customer requirements into innovative and scalable product solutions.
You will work closely with Product Management, customers, and industry forums to analyze requirements, define solution architectures, and shape the product roadmap. The role requires strong expertise in system analysis, solution design, effort estimation, and resource planning to ensure successful product development and delivery. As a key technical leader, you will influence architectural decisions, ensure alignment with customer expectations, and contribute to the development of next-generation embedded telecom solutions.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Translate business and product requirements into detailed solution architecture, including application, integration, deployment, security, and data design.
- Own and guide the configuration of cloud services and platform components in close collaboration with the DevOps and infrastructure teams.
- Continuously evaluate and keep cloud components, platform services, and related frameworks up to date based on research, best practices, scalability needs, and performance considerations.
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making across cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve architecture-level issues related to performance, scalability, deployment, and cloud platform behavior.
- Perform technical evaluation and proof-of-concept activities for new tools, frameworks, and cloud services before adoption.
- Mentor development teams and provide architectural leadership to ensure consistent implementation of best practices.
- Maintain architecture documentation and ensure all stakeholders have visibility into design decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints.
Key Skills And Experience
Must-to-have
- Should have at least 10 years of experience in developing cloud-based microservices applications. Experience with applications developed using Spring Boot and Java 8+ is a plus and Experience in telecom domain, BSS/OSS, or large-scale enterprise platforms is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Industrial science or equivalent experience
- Should have experience in designing highly scalable architectures. Experience working as a Solution Architect for more than 5 years is a plus and ability to work with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, DevOps, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Should have experience in defining solution architecture and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Should have experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
- Should have experience working with distributed cache technologies such as Hazelcast and Redis.
- Should have experience working with messaging/queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Should have familiarity with DevOps and cloud platform tools, such as load balancers, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and OpenShift storage and networking layers.
- Should have expertise in debugging field issues related to scalability and performance.
- Should have understanding of application security, secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, and common cloud security principles.
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of public cloud providers such as AWS and Google Cloud is a plus.
- Knowledge of AI/ML and MCP server development is a plus
