Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying potential villages with a high number of bean gatherers in and around cluster areas by conducting surveys in designated districts.
- Organize and conduct farmer mobilization camps in bean-potential areas to increase bean collection through awareness programs targeting lady influencers and villagers.
- Regularly meet with bean gatherers and traders at their locations to ensure smooth and accurate flow of quality information at the village level.
- Conduct frequent visits to rural locations to update the Procurement Lead on bean collection quantities and progress.
- Coordinate with traders to maintain and ensure quality parameters of beans before purchase.
- Monitor harvesting samples collected from bean gatherers, suppliers, and processors against established quality standards, report issues, and track corrective actions.
- Arrange appropriate truck capacities as required to transfer beans from traders to local godowns.
- Organize labor for bean handling at collection centers and godown levels.
- Generate comprehensive daily reports and maintain accurate documentation, ensuring adherence to project timelines and clear communication.
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle for each season, from vendor sourcing and negotiation to purchasing and performance analysis.
- Engage proactively with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels to foster collaboration and build strategic partnerships for project alignment.
