We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Manger - Procurement Operations Lead to drive end-to-end purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, cost-efficient, and high-quality sourcing of materials in alignment with business goals, customer expectations, and operational excellence within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities -
1. Procurement Operations -
- Lead daily purchasing activities including PO creation, approvals, and order tracking.
- Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and compliance with external regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Work closely with the planning team to ensure demand fulfilment.
2. Cost Optimization & Budget Management
- Analyze market trends, pricing patterns, and supplier data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Partner with central sourcing teams to negotiate competitive pricing and optimize procurement spend.
- Implement effective cost control measures while maintaining quality benchmarks.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with product development teams for alternate materials and supplier onboarding.
- Partner with finance teams to align procurement decisions with business objectives.
- Support new product launches by ensuring material readiness.
- Ensure availability of long lead time and imported materials through proactive planning.
4. Risk Management & Reporting
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Generate and present periodic reports on procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and cost efficiencies.
Qualifications & Skills: -
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Packaging Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 610 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in FMCG, consumer goods, or D2C environments.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
