About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with strong exposure to technology procurement, software licensing, SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, IT services, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
This is a management-level role requiring ownership of procurement activities, vendor relationships, contract lifecycle, renewal management, cost optimization, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate should have experience working with global vendors, international stakeholders, overseas teams, or global procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for software, SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, IT hardware, telecom solutions, professional services, and corporate services.
- Lead sourcing, vendor evaluation, RFx processes, commercial negotiations, supplier selection, and onboarding.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, renewals, MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, licensing agreements, and service contracts.
- Manage relationships with OEMs, software publishers, cloud providers, SaaS vendors, distributors, and technology partners.
- Own the contract lifecycle, including contract review coordination, renewals, amendments, documentation, and termination processes.
- Track software subscriptions, licenses, support agreements, renewal timelines, and vendor obligations.
- Drive procurement cost optimization, vendor consolidation, spend visibility, and savings initiatives.
- Manage supplier governance through vendor performance reviews, SLA tracking, KPI monitoring, and risk/compliance checks.
- Coordinate with Finance, IT, Legal, Security, Operations, and business stakeholders for procurement planning and approvals.
- Maintain procurement trackers, contract repositories, renewal calendars, vendor records, and spend reports.
- Prepare regular MIS reports covering vendor spend, renewals, savings, contract status, open procurement items, and procurement KPIs.
- Support procurement process improvements, governance frameworks, and automation initiatives where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, category management, or contract management.
- At least 2+ years of experience in a procurement manager / team lead / category lead / vendor management lead role.
- Strong experience in technology procurement, including software licensing, SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, IT hardware, IT services, telecom, or professional services.
- Experience working with global vendors, international stakeholders, overseas teams, or global procurement processes is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of RFx processes, commercial negotiations, contract lifecycle management, vendor governance, and supplier performance tracking.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with Finance, IT, Legal, Security, Operations, and business teams.
- Good reporting and analytical skills, including experience with procurement trackers, spend reports, renewal calendars, and MIS dashboards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as the role requires regular communication with global stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SaaS/cloud vendors, software publishers, OEMs, or global technology suppliers.
- Exposure to tools such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Fusion, SAP MM, ServiceNow, Power BI, Excel, or other procurement/ERP systems.
- Experience managing procurement budgets, vendor renewals, contract repositories, or supplier risk/compliance processes.
- Prior experience in fintech, technology, telecom, IT services, BFSI, logistics-tech, or global enterprise environments.
