Position-Procurement Manager (HOCP)

Experience -Min 4 Years in Procurement (preferable from solar, electrical industries)

Key Responsibilities
1.Vendor and Supplier Management
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with existing vendors to ensure reliable supply.
- Track supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, service level).
2.Purchase Order Management
- Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely approval.
- Track the status of POs, delivery timelines, and follow up as necessary.
- Resolve order discrepancies, delays, or quantity issues.
3.Sourcing and Quotation Analysis
- Assist in sourcing materials and services as per technical or operational requirements.
- Collect and compare quotations, negotiate terms with suppliers under supervision.
- Help prepare cost analysis and vendor comparison sheets.
4.Inventory and Stock Control Support
- Coordinate with the inventory or warehouse team to manage stock levels.
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
5.Documentation and Record-Keeping
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
- Ensure accurate data entry in procurement systems or ERP platforms.
6.Compliance and Audit Preparation
- Ensure procurement processes comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits or internal reviews.
7.Support in Strategic Sourcing
- Support procurement manager in long-term sourcing strategies.
- Help in market research for new suppliers or product alternatives.
8.Budget and Cost Control
- Monitor expenditures and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Report on procurement spend and help in identifying savings opportunities.
9.Team Coordination and Communication
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, finance, logistics) for material requirements.
- Escalate issues to the procurement manager as needed.
Essential Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Basic negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Understanding of procurement procedures and supply chain principles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
