Position: Procurement Executive

Location: Pune

Experience: 1 - 2 Years

Salary Structure: 2-4 LPA (Based on Experience)

Work mode: On-site

This is a full-time, on-site Procurement Executive role based in the Pune Division. The Procurement Executive will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including identifying and qualifying suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating pricing and terms while aligning with quality and cost targets. Responsibilities include creating and processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with internal teams, rural producer groups, and logistics partners to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, analyzing procurement data, optimizing order quantities, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The Procurement Executive will also support vendor development, compliance with company policies, and continuous improvement of procurement processes to strengthen FarmDidi's supply chain and rural impact.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, with hands-on experience in purchase orders and purchase management.
• Well-developed analytical skills to interpret data, manage costs, and optimize inventory and vendor performance.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and rural producer groups.
• Experience in FMCG, food processing, agribusiness, or supply chain management is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, conduct vendor visits as needed, and operate in a fast-paced, mission-focused startup environment.
• Attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, integrity in handling commercial information, and alignment with FarmDidi's rural empowerment mission.
