We areseekinga highly skilled and innovative Principal Engineering Manager to lead our Calendaring inBizChat. This role is pivotal in driving the development and enhancement of our calendarSearch and Time Management experiences,leveragingcutting-edgetechnologies to deliver exceptional user experiences.
As the
Principal Engineering Manager for the Calendar Project, you will have the opportunity to drive significant innovation and impact.Enhancing the calendaring search and insights, powered by AI, aims to serve as a personal time portfolio manager, strategically guiding users time investments for maximum productivity andsatisfaction.By deeply understanding each user's unique needs and goals, you will help create a tailored experience that ensures every minute is invested wisely, leaving users feeling accomplished.Your leadership will be crucial in achieving our ambition to provide every user with a personal admin to manage their time, a luxury currently accessible to less than 1% of the population. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement advanced calendar features and functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientist, product management, design, and marketing, to define and execute the product roadmap.
- Drive innovation by integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into the calendar tooptimizetime management and productivity for users.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality software through rigorous testing, code reviews, and continuous integration practices.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years people management experience.
- Proven experience in software engineering and team management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Solid background in AI, machine learning, and data analytics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Solid communicationand interpersonal skills.
