The Partner Success Assurance is the strategy & execution arm of the Alliance & Channel function of Salesforce India and is aligned to achieve the local needs of the partner business across partner solution GTM strategy, partner engagement, partner capacity & capability development, professional development and delivery excellence

About The Role

The Partner Solutions Advisor is one who drives the regional partners through the journey of Solutions co-creation, Assessment & evangelization and GTM with the account team. This will require

  • Assessment & evangelization: Deeply understand the partner capabilities, experiences, solutions/use case landscape. Sharing a compelling Salesforce story to our partner ecosystem, capturing partner mindshare, and driving integration of Salesforce technology into partner use cases. Collaborating closely with our product organization on solution development to ensure alignment between Product and partner (i.e provide visibility into product roadmap).
  • Solution Co-Creation: Review solution white spaces in industry verticals and identify opportunity for partners to co-creating & deliver partner solutions. Provide thought leadership around industry use cases and assist partners in development of scalable resources such as demo assets, holodecks, technical reference architectures, customer stories to drive sales growth.
  • Driving the Go To Market (GTM): Activation of the solutions across Sales, Solutions Engineering. Assisting and building plans with partners, partner account managers and A&C Marketing team on solution lead generation, solution evangelization.
  • Create compelling visions of the future, assisting partners write their solution point of view, creating the overall messaging and building thought provoking presentations that the sales can use in customer meetings.

Doing so will require tight collaboration with both Partner & Salesforce leadership and engagement with them to build and grow their Salesforce capability. You will also support the wider theatre as part of the broader Partner practice development team for India. You will be required to build strong relationships with both internal and external senior leadership and practice leads to develop and execute your strategy.

Key responsibilities/Your Impact

  • Engage directly with all consulting/SI Salesforce partners in India (e.g. Global System Integrators (GSI) like Accenture, PWC, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Agencies, Regional System Integrators (RSI) and other regional partners etc)
  • Identify white spaces across industries and work with partners to formulate and co-create solutions extending Salesforce product features and capabilities
  • Guide the evaluation of business and technical requirements in solution design.
  • Build relationships with key collaborators and team members both internally with solution engineering and our product teams and externally with the partner teams.
  • Review and guide solution vision and direction, development approach and key artefacts in partnership with the solution manager.
  • Direct and mentor diverse teams, such as customers, partners, and colleagues in technical delivery aspects, as well as non-technical topics such as communication strategies or executive influence.
  • Fuel our internal growth by identifying, leading or contributing to internal pivotal initiatives, such as innovations, building up a strategic brand, and nurture teammates skills by sharing knowledge.
  • Where required, support pre-sales activities to position Partner solutions with Salesforce sales teams.
  • Contribute to broader goals by becoming a citizen philanthropist and give back to our communities by joining or leading volunteering activities.
  • Analyse, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years Technical Sales/Consulting/Solution Development/Practice lead experience
  • Hands-on technical consulting, solution implementation experience and deep expertise in Salesforce platform as well as coding experience in object oriented languages.
  • Experience in guiding partners and project members in rationalising and deploying AI technology for business use cases.
  • Work independently and as part of a distributed team and a willingness to take ownership of problems.
  • Rapidly learn new technologies (GAI, Data Cloud, Einstein 1 etc) as well as strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally depending on partner needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a major Salesforce Industry such as FINS, RCG, HLS, CMT or Manufacturing.
  • Experience in a Salesforce product area such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Platform, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, and/or Tableau.
  • Hands on technical consulting and solution implementation experience with Salesforce's existing products and solutions.
  • Understanding of Web Services, Data Modelling, and Enterprise application integration concepts, including experience with enterprise integration tools (ESBs and/or ETL tools), and common integration design patterns with enterprise systems (e.g. CMS, ERP, HRIS, DWH/DM) will be advantageous
  • Ability to build and maintain key relationships with C-level / mid-level and key decision makers.
  • Experience driving or contributing to an organisational transformation in a matrixed organisation.
  • Experience of defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform including coded solutions.

About You

  • Highly motivated individual that is passionate towards partners and dedicated to building a strong Partner ecosystem in a rapidly growing organisation.
  • A background in partner business with either a system Integrator or a product company is required
  • Executed enterprise pre-sales cycles (e.g., sales engineering, solution consulting, sales consulting)
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp and learn new business models, technology paradigms, architecture and solutions
  • Strong technical acumen with a track record of delivering technical and technical enablement sessions
  • Understanding of Salesforce solutions from a technical perspective and preferably deep technical skills in one or more products.
  • Excellent client presentation skills; comfortable working with international technical and business teams/audiences
  • Willingness to travel
