As an Oracle Health Millennium Support & Migration Engineer, you will provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle Health Millennium applications and related infrastructure while contributing to migration and modernization initiatives. The role involves troubleshooting clinical application and infrastructure issues, supporting integrations, assisting with Citrix-to-cloud migration activities, and ensuring secure, high-performing access to critical healthcare systems.

You will work closely with clinical, operational, infrastructure, interface, database, and project teams to support application reliability, incident resolution, migration cutovers, and post-migration stabilization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle Health Millennium applications, infrastructure components, and associated clinical workflows.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and operational stability across application and infrastructure environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, application issues, infrastructure issues, and interoperability-related problems.
  • Perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and support incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
  • Support Oracle Health Millennium migration, transformation, cloud adoption, cutover, and post-migration stabilization activities.
  • Support and troubleshoot healthcare integrations using HL7, FHIR APIs, C-CDA, SMART on FHIR, and related interoperability standards.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, NetScaler/Citrix ADC, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, and secure access components.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers to support business applications and improve database performance.
  • Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory


  • Good understanding of Oracle Health Millennium architecture, clinical workflows, and healthcare application support models.
  • Hands-on experience in Integration, incident management, problem management, change management, production support, and root cause analysis.
  • Technical experience with Linux, Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, NetScaler/Citrix ADC, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, and networking troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including queries, procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and performance troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, C-CDA, SMART on FHIR, and healthcare data exchange concepts (Anyone or more)
  • Ability to collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, interface, infrastructure, and project teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and knowledge-transfer skills.

Good-to-Have


  • Preferred 3+ years of Oracle Health Millennium support experience in a production healthcare environment
  • Oracle Health Millennium migration or modernization experience.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience, especially in healthcare or application migration contexts.
  • Healthcare SaaS migration or cloud adoption experience.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Citrix certification.
  • Cloud certification in OCI, Azure, or AWS.
  • Experience supporting acute care, ambulatory, and revenue cycle environments.
  • Exposure to Millennium domains such as PowerChart, FirstNet, SurgiNet, Pharmacy, PathNet, RadNet, Revenue Cycle, Scheduling, MPages, Discern Rules, Discern Explorer/CCL, HealtheIntent, and Interoperability Platforms.

  • Do I have at least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle Health Millennium in a production healthcare environment
  • Can I troubleshoot Millennium application issues across clinical workflows, infrastructure dependencies, and integration touchpoints
  • Am I comfortable supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, NetScaler/Citrix ADC, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, and secure access environments
  • Have I worked with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, C-CDA, or SMART on FHIR
  • Can I support migration activities, including cutover planning, post-migration stabilization, incident resolution, and stakeholder communication
