As part of our enterprise 5G offering we're building a scalable, cloud-based management platform backed by public cloud infrastructure and orchestrated with Kubernetes. We are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer who's passionate about Infrastructure as Code, cloud-native technologies, and supporting world-class development teams.
As part of our Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps team, you'll collaborate with seasoned engineers to design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud infrastructure. You'll play a critical role in global deployment, cloud operations, and developer support across a cutting-edge platform deployed in public cloud environments.
What You'll Do
- Responsibility for design and implementation of scalable cloud infrastructure to support deployment of microservices across global environments
- Owner of the deployment and management of business-critical cloud infrastructure and applications in public cloud platforms, including production environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using tools like Terraform, Helm, and Crossplane
- Monitor and improve infrastructure performance, security, and cost-efficiency
- Own and develop the service desk, providing support to development teams, ensuring seamless access to cloud resources, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining high availability
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of DevOps experience with a focus on public cloud infrastructure
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code and containerized application deployment (Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt)
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is required; AWS experience is a strong plus
- Experience migrating services between cloud providers
- A strong track record of managing and maintaining mission-critical production systems
- Experience in implementation of service desks or similar functions towards development teams
