Job Title : Principal Data Governance Analyst

Job Location: Marathahalli, Bangalore (Hybrid)

Roles and Responsibility:

Design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

Lead data quality initiatives including profiling, cleansing, validation, and monitoring of enterprise data assets.

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and metadata management practices.

Develop and maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, and lineage documentation.

Use Python/R and SQL to perform data analysis, automate data quality checks, and generate insights.

Identify and resolve data issues, ensuring alignment with business rules and regulatory requirements. Support compliance with data privacy and protection regulations (e. g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Contribute to the selection and implementation of data governance and data quality tools.

Provide training and support to data stewards and business users on governance best practices.
