Role & Responsibilities
- Create weekly thematic lesson plans that integrate phonics, storytelling, art, music, and movement, aligned to CBSE Early Childhood Education guidelines.
- Deliver engaging on-site classroom sessions for ages 35, using activity stations and manipulatives to foster sensory and language development.
- Track individual progress through observation records, portfolio assessments, and developmental checklists; share actionable feedback with parents.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment; implement positive behaviour management and hygiene routines.
- Collaborate with grade-level peers on annual events, field trips, and celebrations that reinforce cultural values and 21st-century skills.
- Participate in professional development workshops and contribute to continuous improvement of the early-year curriculum.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Education, Nursery Teacher Training, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years classroom experience teaching Pre-Primary or Kindergarten in a CBSE setting.
- Fluency in English with clear pronunciation; working Hindi or Kannada desirable.
- Strong lesson-planning and classroom-management abilities, including the use of phonics frameworks.
- Competence with basic educational technology (smart boards, MS Office, e-learning apps).
Preferred
- Certification in Jolly Phonics, Montessori, or Reggio Emilia methodologies.
- Experience conducting digital parent-teacher meetings and using student information systems.
- First Aid or child-safety certification.
