About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Power BI administration, service gateways, and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring smooth BI operations, high availability, and secure data access across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Power BI Service, Gateway, and Report Server environments.
- Oversee Power BI architecture, licensing, and security compliance.
- Develop, optimize, and manage DAX queries and Power Query transformations.
- Integrate and maintain user access through Active Directory / Azure AD and SSO.
- Implement monitoring and automation using PowerShell or REST APIs.
- Provide 24x7 L2 support and handle operational issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Work within ITIL-aligned processes using tools like ServiceNow or Control-M.
- Monitor key service metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate directly with customers, particularly within the banking domain.
Mandatory Skills:
- Power BI Administration
- Power BI Service Gateway
- DAX and Power Query
- Active Directory / Azure AD
Good to Have:
- Automation using PowerShell or REST APIs
- Experience in Banking Domain
- Familiarity with ITIL process frameworks
