Responsibilities
- Administer, manage, and optimize Postgres, MySQL, and Mongo DB databases.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries for efficiency.
- Implement robust backup and recovery protocols.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with development teams to design scalable database solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database issues.
- Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations.
- Develop and maintain database documentation and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a DBA with Postgres, MySQL, and Mongo DB.
- Proven expertise in database design, implementation, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of database security best practices.
- Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
