Description

We are seeking an experienced Playwright Automation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, particularly with the Playwright framework. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our web applications through effective automation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using Playwright framework.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and requirements.
• Perform thorough testing of web applications to identify defects and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Maintain and update existing automation scripts as necessary to accommodate changes in the application.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage and defect status.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Continuously improve automation processes and practices to enhance efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficient in using Playwright for end-to-end testing of web applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for writing automation scripts.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and testing frameworks.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
