The Project is for one of our Banking clients who has Global operations.
We're building a team to work on a new Strategic Group platform for our customers collections business that will provide a modern, flexible, scalable, and comprehensive technology solution.
The Systems Engineering team will lead and own the ongoing enhancement and definition of the new strategic Group platform and associated processes for Collections.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be working on the Simpler Better Collections Program and developing business and technical requirements for people, process & technology changes.
- This is a technical role that works closely with Business and IT Stakeholders.
- It is important to have a technical background and some prior application development experience.
- Training and on-the-job learning will be provided to upskill the successful applicant.
- What will you be doing
- You'll need to be a proactive, independent person and enjoy working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders from a range of areas on the program, including credit risk, collections, engineering, and architecture.
- Providing advice, defining, and enhancing the rules and configuration of the new strategic group platform.
- Analyse systems, processes, and applications to provide recommendations for enhancement and development.
Mandatory skills
- Prior experience with 5+ years in Experian PowerCurve Collections v2.4 is essential.
- Development and coding experience (such as SQL, Java, XML, Groovy, JavaScript) is essential.
- Ability to engage with and communicate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have skills
- Prior experience with Australian Collections systems is an advantage.
- Exposure to Cloud and AI technologies is desirable.
- Experience with Automation Frameworks is desirable.
- Understanding of Integration Technologies is desirable.
