Job Description

Position: Plant Head _ Electrofusion Plastic Pipes

Location: Tukkuguda, Hyderabad

CTC: 15 - 17 LPA

We are seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead the end-to-end operations of twin manufacturing plants producing HDPE/MDPE pipes and allied electro fusion fittings and PE Fittings. The role is responsible for driving production excellence, quality, maintenance, cost optimization, manpower management, and overall plant performance while ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and timely customer deliveries.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management capabilities.

• Expertise in HDPE, MDPE, LLDPE and/or PVC pipe extrusion and electro fusion fittings and PE fittings manufacturing.

• Sound knowledge of polymer materials, grades, formulations, and processing parameters.

• Strong troubleshooting, production planning, maintenance, and operational excellence skills.

• Experience in ISO systems, quality assurance, preventive maintenance, and process optimization.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and manufacturing performance reporting.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead overall plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, HR, administration, stores, dispatch, and logistics.

• Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve customer commitments while maximizing machine utilization and operational efficiency.

• Ensure smooth extrusion and molding operations with minimum downtime and optimum productivity.

• Drive cost optimization initiatives through efficient resource utilization, waste reduction, and process improvements.

• Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure high equipment availability.

• Monitor product quality, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Lead manpower planning, recruitment, training, performance management, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Manage installation, commissioning, machine trials, and successful start-up of new production equipment.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, ISO documentation, statutory regulations, and safety requirements.

• Prepare production, maintenance, quality, and MIS reports while driving continuous improvement across plant operations. 

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

Educational Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA or Master's Degree will be an added advantage.
