Job Description
Mandatory Skills:
- 6+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in PeopleSoft Technical Development.
- Hands-on experience in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and Application Designer.
- Strong experience in developing and customizing Pages, Components, Menus, Records, Fields, and File Layouts.
- Experience in developing BI Publisher (XMLP) Reports, PS Query, SQR Reports, and writing complex SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with Integration Broker, IB Messages, Service Operations, XML, and Web Services.
- Strong knowledge of Application Packages, Classes, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts in PeopleCode.
- Experience configuring and maintaining Process Scheduler jobs and Application Engine programs.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, tax updates, compare reports, fit-gap analysis, and retrofit activities.
- Experience working on SAML/SSO authentication and PeopleCode-based sign-on implementations.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, and Integration Broker.
- Build and maintain Pages, Components, Menus, Records, Fields, and other PeopleSoft objects using Application Designer.
- Develop and maintain File Layouts, XML integrations, and technical interfaces.
- Design and implement integrations between PeopleSoft and external applications using Integration Broker, Service Operations, and IB Messages.
- Develop BI Publisher (XMLP) reports, PS Queries, SQR Reports, and optimize SQL queries.
- Support and develop Application Packages and Classes following OOP principles.
- Configure and maintain Process Scheduler, batch jobs, and Application Engine programs.
- Participate in PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, tax updates, compare reports, fit-gap analysis, and migration activities.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-quality technical solutions.
- Support production deployments, enhancements, and post-implementation activities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions modules.
- Exposure to PeopleTools upgrades and cloud migration projects.
- Experience in REST/SOAP Web Services, API integrations, and security implementations.
- Experience working in Banking, Finance, Healthcare, or Higher Education domains is an added advantage.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical solution design.
