Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

Join our central Talent Acquisition team as a People Analytics & Automation Specialist, where you will serve as the data and technology backbone of the function, driving People Analytics within Talent Acquisition. This role focuses on building analytics, automation, and data-driven reporting solutions to optimize high-volume frontline hiring across India.

Important: This is a non-recruitment role. It does not involve candidate sourcing or hiring execution. The role is centred on data, analytics, dashboards, and automation within Talent Acquisition.

You will work extensively with Python, SQL, Power BI (or similar tools), dashboards, and system integrations to drive data-led decision making and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Analytics & Insights

Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and executive visualizations (Power BI / Tableau / Looker Studio) and automated reports (WBRs, MBRs) tracking:

  • Hiring funnel metrics
  • Channel ROI
  • Hiring velocity
  • Diversity and conversion trends

Conduct deep-dive analyses on:

  • Recruitment funnel performance
  • Digital campaigns and sourcing channels
  • Hiring events and walk-ins

Generate actionable insights to improve hiring efficiency, cost, and quality

Automation & Data Engineering

Develop and enhance Python-based scripts for:

  • Data extraction
  • Cleaning and transformation
  • Workflow automation

Automate recurring reports and dashboards to reduce manual effort

Improve data pipelines and reporting efficiency across tools

Systems & Integrations

Support integrations and data flows between:

  • ATS platform
  • WhatsApp Business API
  • Microsoft Forms / Power Apps or similar data capture tools
  • Other hiring and campaign tools

Work with APIs and connectors to unify data sources

Business Partnering

Collaborate with the TA team and Employer Branding team to:

  • Create high-impact review decks
  • Design intuitive, user-friendly dashboards and communicate insights through clear and compelling data storytelling.

Provide visibility into:

  • Pipeline health
  • Channel effectiveness
  • Early retention indicators

Data Governance

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reports
  • Establish best practices for TA data tracking and reporting
  • Continuously improve analytics frameworks and dashboards

KEY SKILLS

  • 2–4 years of experience in analytics, data, or HR analytics roles
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python (mandatory) – pandas, scripting, data workflow automation
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Strong hands-on experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio), including building executive dashboards and structured management reporting (WBRs/MBRs)
  • Understanding of APIs and system integrations
  • Ability to analyse funnels, campaigns, and operational metrics
  • Strong problem-solving and structured thinking
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with data
  • Exposure to recruitment analytics, hiring funnels, or high-volume operations analytics is a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
