Role Description The Pediatrician role at MediVaah is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents, including routine check-ups, developmental assessments, immunizations, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Daily responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing pediatric illnesses, prescribing treatments, coordinating care with other physicians and healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Pediatrician will counsel families on preventive care, nutrition, growth, and development, while ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and ethical standards. The role also involves collaborating with the MediVaah team to deliver patient-centered care and contribute to the overall quality and safety of services.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of pediatric health concerns.
• Demonstrated expertise in Pediatrics, including routine child health, growth monitoring, vaccinations, and management of common childhood illnesses.
• Experience or training in Neonatology for the assessment and care of newborns, including early diagnosis and intervention.
• Ability to work effectively with Physicians and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with specialization in Pediatrics (MD/DNB or equivalent), and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and documentation skills, with attention to patient safety and quality of care.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children and families, including the ability to provide clear guidance and support.
• Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and staying updated with current pediatric guidelines and evidence-based medicine.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, with a patient-focused mindset and respect for diversity and inclusivity.
