Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and process monthly payroll for employees in Greece using CloudPay or other payroll systems.
  • Ensure full compliance with Greek employment law, social insurance (EFKA), and tax authority (AADE) requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee data related to salaries, bonuses, benefits, deductions, and leave.
  • Prepare and submit all statutory filings, such as ERGANI submissions and monthly APD reports.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll data, support audits, and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Monitor legislative updates affecting payroll and advise management on required adjustments.
  • Handle employee payroll queries professionally and confidentially.
  • Support payroll reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience within Greece or similar jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience working with CloudPay (preferred) or similar payroll/HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, ADP).
  • Strong knowledge of Greek payroll legislation, tax, and social security processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing payroll in a multinational environment.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries.
  • Certification in payroll administration or HR management.
