About identify.bioidentify.bio is an AI-driven healthcare company building advanced digital pathology tools to assist pathologists in cancer screening and diagnosis. Our products include AI algorithms for Pap smear pre-screening, tumour identification algorithms on H&E specimens, IHC quantification, and virtual staining designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency in real-world lab workflows.
Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Pathologist to join our growing team at identify.bio. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of post-MD experience and a strong background in diagnostic cytology and histopathology.
You will work closely with our AI research and product teams to validate algorithms, provide expert annotations, and contribute to clinical study design and publications.
Key Responsibilities- Review and annotate digital pathology slides for AI model training and validation.
- Provide expert diagnostic input for algorithm performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with the data science and engineering teams to refine AI outputs.
- Participate in study design, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation.
- Attend in-person meetings periodically for project discussions and team alignment (Mumbai preferred).
Qualifications- MD in Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of post-MD experience in diagnostic cytology and/or histopathology.
- Experience with cervical cytology, IHC, or digital pathology is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a tech-enabled, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and an interest in AI applications in pathology.
Work Arrangement- Primary mode: Remote / online
