Role & responsibilities :
- The successful candidate will have the primary responsibility of working on Patentability searches, Patent drafting and Office actions.
- Expected to work collaboratively with engineering community and external law firms in reviewing the invention disclosures and to convert those ideas to valuable patents.
- Managing the timely execution of projects while maintaining best quality standards
Preferred candidate profile :
- Looking for India & US Patent Application Drafting & Prosecution Professionals with relevant experience of 5-6 Years.
- Candidates should have Patentability search, Patent Drafting & Prosecution experience in various technology domains preferably in Computer Science, Software, Electrical, Electronics & Communication.
- Assist the leadership in establishing best practices for matters related to patent preparation and prosecution.
- A registered Indian Patent Agent will have added advantage.
- A team player with sound organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Agile and open to everyday-learning.
- Demonstrate trustworthiness, punctuality, ethical standards and values.
- Excellent Verbal, Written and Interpersonal Skills are a must
Required Qualification :
- M.E./MTech/B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/Computer Science/Electrical/ Mechanical from a Reputed Institute.
- At least 5-6 years of experience in handing patentability searches, prosecution and patent application drafting for an engineering company as a part of in-house IP team.
- Strong passion for technology & keen interest in developing business acumen. Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in collaborative team environment
- Unfailing dedication to deadlines and commitments
