Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Outdoor Service Technician to join our growing service team in a well-established industrial equipment supplier with over 50 years of industry experience in Singapore.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location:
Ang Mo Kio, Singapore (Company service vehicle provided for on-site assignments)
Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for industrial equipment, including air compressors, diesel generators, sliding panel saws, and other machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, replace defective components, and conduct testing to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Install, commission, and hand over new equipment at customer sites.
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Provide professional technical support and recommend appropriate maintenance solutions to customers.
- Ensure service tools, equipment, and the company vehicle are properly maintained and all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
- Experience in servicing or repairing industrial machinery is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with air compressors, diesel generators, woodworking machinery, power tools, electric motors, or industrial electrical equipment will be an advantage.
- Able to read and interpret basic electrical wiring diagrams.
- Physically fit, responsible, and comfortable working at customer sites.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
