About The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Oracle SOA Developer with strong expertise in
BPEL,
OSB, and integrations with
Oracle ERP systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both
Oracle SOA Suite 11g and 12c, and be capable of independently managing middleware integrations, development, enhancements, and support activities. This role requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, OSB, and integration frameworks.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce SOA governance standards, coding guidelines, and middleware best practices.
- Manage and maintain business assets including XSDs, WSDLs, Process Definitions, XSLTs, and related integration artifacts.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support middleware and web-based integration solutions.
- Develop Oracle SOA composites using BPEL, Mediator, OSB, and adapters (DB, File, FTP, JMS, ERP).
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, business analysts, and architects to deliver integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SOA/BPEL/OSB production issues, performance bottlenecks, and deployment errors.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, documentation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide accurate effort estimations and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated with new technologies and adapt quickly to evolving project requirements.
- Support integration testing, UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live activities.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c
- Expertise in BPEL, OSB (Oracle Service Bus), Mediators
- Strong experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL
- Integration experience with Oracle EBS/ERP modules
- Experience with JDeveloper, Enterprise Manager Console, and deployment activities
- Understanding of fault handling, error recovery, and logging frameworks
- Knowledge of Adapters: File, FTP/SFTP, Database, JMS, ERP adapters
- Experience in performance tuning and analyzing SOA composites
- Good knowledge of integration patterns and SOA architecture principles
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Experience with version control tools (Git/Bitbucket)
- Basic understanding of WebLogic administration
- Knowledge of CI/CD in SOA environments
