Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Accounting Hub (OAH/FAH) Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, Subledger Accounting (SLA), General Ledger (GL), and financial system integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Accounting Hub solutions, defining accounting rules, managing financial data transformations, and ensuring seamless integration between source systems and Oracle Fusion Financials.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and support Oracle Accounting Hub (OAH/FAH) solutions.
- Gather business and accounting requirements from finance stakeholders and translate them into system solutions.
- Configure source systems, transaction objects, accounting transformations, and accounting methods within Oracle Accounting Hub.
- Design and maintain Subledger Accounting (SLA) components, including Account Rules, Journal Line Rules, Mapping Sets, and Description Rules.
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL) and related financial modules.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP services, and FBDI.
- Perform financial data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
- Prepare functional design documents, solution designs, test cases, and training materials.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production support activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements, and internal controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–14 years of overall IT experience with strong experience in Oracle Financials.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Accounting Hub (OAH/FAH) implementation and support projects.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly General Ledger (GL).
- Expertise in Subledger Accounting (SLA) configuration and accounting rule setup.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and FBDI-based integrations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience working with business users, finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Certification.
- Experience in Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, Manufacturing, or Shared Services environments.
- Exposure to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and EPM integrations.
- Experience in Oracle Cloud ERP implementation, enhancement, or support engagements.
Nice to Have
- Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, and financial reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud architecture and best practices.
- Exposure to data migration and reconciliation activities during ERP transformations.
