Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist, located in Mumbai. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, perform various diagnostic workup, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries. The role involves using advanced diagnostic equipment to assess vision and eye health and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. Maintaining accurate patient records and delivering exceptional care to a diverse clientele are key components of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting eye examinations, diagnosing visual issues, and prescribing corrective measures
• Experience in fitting contact lenses and providing patient education on eye health
• Knowledge of pre- and post-operative care, particularly concerning cataract, glaucoma, and other eye surgeries
• Familiarity with the use of advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
• Degree in Optometry from a recognized institution; relevant licensure is required
• Prior experience in an eye care clinic or hospital setting is advantageous
