We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager for our Operations Team in delivering seamless travel experiences. The ideal candidate must possess strong knowledge of the travel & tourism industry, excellent vendor management skills, and the ability to design well-structured tour itineraries. This role requires effective coordination with vendors, overseeing booking operations, and ensuring smooth execution of tours from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee end-to-end tour operations, including planning, booking, and execution.
- Ensure all itineraries, bookings, and travel arrangements are accurate and delivered on time.
- Monitor daily operational activities and resolve issues promptly to maintain service quality.
Tour Itinerary Creation
- Design and develop well-structured, creative, and cost-effective tour itineraries.
- Customise itineraries based on client needs, market trends, and company standards.
- Ensure all itineraries comply with travel regulations, safety guidelines, and operational feasibility.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, transport providers, tour guides, and other travel partners.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with vendors.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service quality meets company expectations.
Tour Execution & Quality Control
- Oversee pre-tour checks, logistics arrangements, and on-ground coordination.
- Ensure every tour runs smoothly and professionally, addressing any operational challenges proactively.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall travel experiences.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, vendor contracts, invoices, and itineraries.
- Prepare operational reports, cost analyses, and performance metrics for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in travel operations or tour management.
- Strong knowledge of the travel & tourism industry, destinations, and market trends.
- Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in creating detailed and customer-centric tour itineraries.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle operational challenges.
- Proficiency in travel management systems, MS Office, and booking platforms
