Job Description

Job Title: Officer/Sr. Officer Payroll

Location: Chennai

Experience: 2+ Years

Job Description:

We are looking for a Payroll Officer/Sr. Officer with a strong understanding of Indian payroll concepts and taxation. The ideal candidate should have excellent Excel skills and the ability to handle payroll processing efficiently while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and update monthly payroll data.
  • Process payroll inputs and verify input vs output accuracy.
  • Generate post-payroll reports and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Handle Full & Final settlements for exiting employees.
  • Prepare statutory reports as per compliance requirements.
  • Respond to employee payroll-related queries in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fair knowledge of Indian payroll processing and taxation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to payroll timelines.
  • Effective communication skills for query resolution.
