- Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Incident Support
- Monitor network security systems, firewall logs, VPN activity, network events, and related telemetry to identify risks, misconfigurations, failures, anomalies, and operational issues.
- Investigate security and connectivity incidents, analyze traffic flows and logs, isolate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Support incident response activities involving network security controls, suspicious traffic, unauthorized access attempts, VPN issues, segmentation gaps, and firewall policy violations.
- Network Security Design, Hardening & Continuous Improvement
- Define and improve network security standards, firewall rule governance, access-control processes, segmentation models, VPN security, and zero trust network access controls.
- Review existing firewall and network security rulesets to remove unnecessary access, reduce risk, improve manageability, and ensure alignment with business and security requirements.
- Plan and implement network security improvements, configuration changes, upgrades, migrations, hardening activities, and stability enhancements.
- Validate implemented changes through traffic testing, log review, connectivity checks, rule verification, and post-change monitoring.
- Collaboration, Automation & Global Support
