- Five years of experience troubleshooting and securing Linux environments, with a preference for CentOS or RHEL
- Strong grasp of the TCP/IP Model and adeptness in diagnosing networking concerns with mTLS
- Familiarity with diverse Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Regular experience deploying secure infrastructure and adeptness in automating security-related challenges like certificate or identity management issues
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and proactively mitigate potential problems
- Expertise in managing large-scale OLTP and
- Deep knowledge of network security concepts, firewalls, and load balancers
- Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP suite
- Deep understanding of Interior and Exterior Gateway Protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or AWS
- Strong knowledge of cloud VPC VPN configurations
What you will need to have -
- Experience with Linux based networking
- Experience with network scripting/automation
- Experience with configuration management systems such as Puppet, Terraform, Ansible
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, VRRP, SNMP, TACACS+, RADIUS, VRFs, and other network related protocols
- Strong experience with IPSec VPN tunnels
- Experience implementing scalable, highly available and secure SSL VPN environments. OpenVPN and/or F5 APM experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of wireless standards and protocols
