Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless networks, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Install and configure network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support server infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Perform regular network performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, systems, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to users and support teams.
- Keep up with new networking technologies and recommend upgrades as needed.
