Responsibilities
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
- Configure and install network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades (patching, configuration changes, etc.)
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages, collaborating with other teams as needed
- Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access
- Optimize network performance through ongoing monitoring and tuning
- Document network configurations, processes, and service records
- Support disaster recovery and backup procedures
